Also, HYR Director Patrick FItzgerald was interviewed by Forward Radio Louisville 106.5 FM WFMP.  The host of the program is HYR parent and U of L Philosophy Professor Avery Kolers, who hosts a regular program on Ethics.  He specifically wanted to ask some questions about an article in the Atlantic that came out in the fall of 2018 called American Mertocracy is Killing Youth Sports.  In the article, it describes the path of youth sports in the US has become increasingly divided where children with means play expensive travel sports, and children below the poverty line are becoming much less likely to play sports.
